West Wickham lies about ten miles south-east of Cambridge, on the Suffolk border between Balsham and Linton. It is really three settlements rather than one: the village itself around St Mary’s Church, plus the hamlets of Streetly End and Burton End, both recorded as far back as the Domesday Book.
